The short version
Soirée is a game for friends who host dinner parties and rank them. Be a good guest, be a good host, and don't use the app for anything it isn't built for.
The dinners are yours
Soirée schedules and scores dinner parties — it doesn't cook them. Hosts are responsible for their own homes, food, and guests; attendees are responsible for their own dietary needs and allergies. Tell your host what you can't eat. Soirée is not responsible for anything that happens at a dinner.
No money through the app
Entry to leagues and contests is free. Soirée does not support paying for meals, pooling money, or betting of any kind, and you may not use it to arrange those things.
Your content
Menus and photos you upload stay yours. You give Soirée permission to display them to your league, which is the entire point. Don't upload anything illegal, hateful, or that isn't yours to share — we can remove content or accounts that break this rule.
Fair play
Rankings are secret ballots and the standings are only as good as everyone's honesty. Attempts to game scoring, impersonate other members, or break into parts of the app that aren't yours can end with your account removed.
The service, as-is
Soirée is provided as-is, without warranties. We work hard to keep it running and your seasons intact, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. These terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba, Canada. Questions: charlayinc@gmail.com.
