Who we are
Soirée is a dinner-party competition app operated from Canada. Questions about this policy or your data: contact us at charlayinc@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. As you use Soirée, we store the content you and your league create: leagues, teams, schedules, dinner dates, menus, dish photos, votes, and rankings. We don't collect anything else, and we don't run third-party ad trackers.
How we use it
Only to run the game: showing your name and photo to your league, building schedules and standings, and turning everyone's rankings into scores. Individual ballots are private — other members (including league commissioners) see only combined averages, never who ranked whom where.
Who can see what
Leagues are invite-only. Your profile, menus, and league activity are visible to members of your leagues. Dish photos are served from links that work without signing in — like an unlisted link, they aren't discoverable, but anyone with the exact address could view one. Don't upload photos you wouldn't want shared.
Where it lives and who we share it with
Your data is stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider) and the app is hosted on Vercel. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else except where the law requires.
Your choices
You can leave a league at any time, and delete photos you've uploaded. To delete your account and its data entirely, email charlayinc@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
